Early Arrivals
It was raised at the AGM that there have been several rallies where people have arrived before the opening time. It is important for the rally officers they have the time to setup themselves and check the site is ready before we have arrivals. The arrival times are agreed with the school and the Caravan Club and need to be adhered to. There will be times where the rally officers can’t be there early enough for the opening and they will request assistance from the Wombles for this.
Plaque Prices
The prices of the Rally Plaques has been raised at the AGM and it was agreed to raise the costs of a plaque from 80p to £1. The increase will start from January 2010.
Booking in on time with payment
It is really important you book into a rally with the booking form and payment. This is essential especially where there are limited numbers or there are catering arrangements. There have been times this year where people have informed rally officers they will be attending, provided no form or payment and then have left the rally officer outside in the cold and not turned up.
Going forwards the rally officers this year will need the booking form and payment prior to the closing date otherwise your booking will not be accepted.
16 Jun..... Youth & Charity Rally
The Youth & Charity Rally at the weekend was a great success. Thanks need to go to Micky T & Viv, Graham & June for organising the rally, to all the people attending and to the visitors on the Saturday. A special thanks has to go to Bobby Hayes and Mark Sinclair-Watson for taking part in the waxing and helping us raise a considerable amount of money for charity. Thanks also needs to go to Jo Dymott for waxing Mark and Bob, Martin Whittaker for the UV Disco and to all the stall holders who have personally donated so much. We are still working out the final totals but we are pleased to announce we raised over £1000 during the weekend for our Charity, Canterbury Oast Trust.

Christmas Rally The Christmas Rally advertised in the programme this year will not be going ahead.
