18 Dec.....Message from Paul Funnell
Dear Mark, Committee & Centre Members,
I have waited a little while before sending you this letter in order for the dust to settle and for you all to relax into your positions.
I would firstly like to thank you all so much for the kind and lovely words spoken at the AGM on my retirement. Also, the fishing voucher was so very much appreciated as I am looking forward to buying some new equipment and getting it ready (with practise) in time for next years competition, a deep felt thanks for such a thoughtful and lovely gift. As for the extra large plaque, I can not believe this went through my workshop without my knowing!!!!! This took me very much by surprise and what a lovely honour to be presented with the largest plaque we have ever made.
I would just like to end on saying I wish you and your Committee the very best for the coming year and would like to offer you and all Committee Members any help and advise that you may need with anything no matter how big or small it may be.

Dear All
May I take this opportunity of thanking you for the gift that you presented me from the centre for my time on committee with South London. I hope to return to the rally field one day in the not to distant future.
Please accept my gratitude and pass on my thanks to all in The South London Centre, i will treasure it and use it often.

27 Sep....French Holiday Rally 2009
We are looking to organise a rally in France next year for 2 weeks in the region of Poitou-Charentes 25 July 09 - 8 Aug 09. It is a small site, with a swimming pool having electric hook-up for 20 caravans/motorhomes. There are also 3 chalets that take a maximum of 6 people available to rent. We would have the whole site to ourselves. For this to go ahead we need to know if you would be interested and also we are looking for members to marshall this rally. Prices would be approximately the same as the tariff on the web site. The site is run by a British family, and would be visited by members of the committee before going ahead.
24 Sep.....Message from Denis Lingham
I would like to thank the Centre for the lovely watch that was presented to me at the A.G.M. last Sunday, and to apologise for the lack of my response to the comments made about me by Jenny French.
I regret that emotions got the better of me and for the first time in ages I found myself lost for words. Please be assured that the gift is greatly appreciated and I would like to pass on my thanks to everybody who has supported me over the past 23 years.
The last 18 months have been particularly difficult for me and I am extremely grateful for the help and assistance I have been given by the Centre to enable me to complete my duties.
I hope that I can continue to have an input into the running of the Centre and that I may be able to get back on the rally field sometime in the future.
Once again thank you for the generous gift.
